This grant supports meritorious vision-related research projects that utilize secondary data analyses from existing databases. It also funds the development of new statistical methodologies to enhance analysis of vision health data. Clinical trials are explicitly excluded. Eligible applicants include a broad range of institutions such as higher education, nonprofits, government entities, tribal organizations, and certain minority-serving institutions.
