This opportunity funds rigorous preclinical studies using mouse models to evaluate repurposable and investigational drugs, alone or combined with non-pharmacologic interventions, aimed at advancing drug repositioning and combination therapies for Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. The goal is to generate robust translational outcomes and proof of concept to enable rational therapeutic development. Clinical trials are not allowed under this funding.
