This opportunity funds high risk clinical trials aimed at developing or improving in vivo high-resolution structural and functional imaging technologies for the living human inner ear. Projects should enhance visualization of auditory and vestibular components using non-invasive methods in awake patients. Multidisciplinary teams are encouraged to develop new imaging probes or contrast agents and advance imaging techniques beyond current capabilities.
