This funding opportunity supports research to develop and improve in vivo high-resolution structural and functional imaging technologies for the living human inner ear. Projects should enhance visualization of inner ear structures such as hair cells, membranes, and vasculature in awake patients using non-invasive techniques. Research may include new imaging probes or contrast agents and must demonstrate a clear path to clinical application. Multi-disciplinary teams and studies in humans and relevant animal models are encouraged.
