This fellowship supports early career investigators to conduct independent research in Atmospheric and Geospace Sciences disciplines including Atmospheric Chemistry, Climate Dynamics, Paleoclimate, Meteorology, Aeronomy, Magnetospheric Physics, Solar Terrestrial, and Space Weather. Fellowships last up to 24 months and can be taken to a U.S. host institution of the fellow's choice. The program aims to develop leadership and interdisciplinary collaboration in the field.
Applicants must be U.S. citizens, nationals, or permanent residents with a PhD awarded within 2 years or equivalent early career status. Proposals are submitted by individuals with identified mentors and host institutions in the U.S.
