The Mathematical Sciences Postdoctoral Research Fellowships support early-career researchers in mathematics and statistics by funding postdoctoral research positions. Awards facilitate impactful research environments and include options for Research Fellowship or Research Instructorship. The program supports research in pure and applied mathematics and statistics, including interdisciplinary applications.
Applicants must be U.S. citizens, nationals, or permanent residents with a doctoral degree earned within 2 years before January 1 of the award year. They must not have been previous MSPRF awardees or NSF PIs (except certain fellowships).
