This program funds research projects, doctoral dissertation improvements, conferences, and experimental or survey research focused on the science and technology enterprise. It supports development of improved survey methodologies, alternative data sources, enhanced indicators, and innovative communication of S&T statistics using NCSES or other data. Eligible applicants include US higher education institutions, non-profit organizations, and federally recognized Tribal Nations.
