This fellowship supports early-career postdoctoral researchers in social, behavioral, and economic sciences to pursue independent research and training. Applicants must submit individual proposals with a sponsoring scientist and host institution. The program offers two tracks: Fundamental Research and Broadening Participation, funding research plans addressing important scientific questions within SBE scope.
Applicants must be U.S. citizens, nationals, or permanent residents with a doctoral degree in SBE sciences obtained within 3 years or soon after proposal deadline. Must not hold a full-time tenure-track faculty position. Proposals submitted by individuals, not institutions.
