This limited competition grant funds the acquisition of state-of-the-art scientific instruments to enhance biomedical research and educational missions at resource-limited institutions. Eligible instruments support basic, translational, behavioral, or clinical biomedical research. Applications undergo NIH peer review, and only meritorious proposals will be considered.
Eligible applicants include a wide range of U.S. organizations such as city and county governments, tribal organizations, state governments, educational institutions, nonprofits, and small businesses. Applicants must be resource-limited institutions.
