This program provides planning grants to federally recognized American Indian/Alaska Native Tribes, Tribal colleges, universities, health programs, or organizations. It supports preparatory activities to develop competitive NARCH applications, excluding clinical trials. The focus is on building research capacity and readiness within eligible AI/AN Tribal entities.
Eligible applicants include federally recognized Native American tribal governments and Native American tribal organizations other than federally recognized tribal governments. Eligibility is limited to these AI/AN Tribal entities.
