This funding supports creating a course that equips researchers studying drug use, misuse, and addiction with skills in entrepreneurship, product development, and innovation. The course combines training, mentorship, and practical experience to accelerate biomedical product development and foster an interdisciplinary community ready to navigate scientific, regulatory, and business challenges in this field.
Eligible applicants include a wide range of U.S.-based organizations such as governments, nonprofits, institutions of higher education, small businesses, and tribal organizations. Foreign organizations and foreign components of U.S. organizations are not eligible.
