This funding opportunity supports Clinical Research Center Grants aimed at advancing the diagnosis, prevention, treatment, and amelioration of human sensory and communication disorders. Funded research involves individuals with these disorders or their data/tissues and may include studies on hearing, balance, smell, taste, voice, speech, or language. Applications may optionally propose low-risk clinical trials with appropriate justification and consultation.
Eligible applicants include a wide range of U.S. entities such as governments, nonprofits, for-profits, educational institutions, tribal organizations, and small businesses. Foreign organizations and non-domestic components are not eligible to apply.
