CREST Center awards support Minority-serving institutions in establishing and enhancing STEM research centers that integrate education and research. Funding promotes faculty research productivity, student participation from underrepresented groups, and development of a diverse STEM workforce. Awards include Phase I and II multi-year projects and supplemental partnership funding for current CREST Centers to collaborate with recognized research entities and advance nationally significant STEM themes.
Eligible institutions are MSIs offering graduate STEM degrees with at least 50% enrollment of underrepresented minority students or primarily serving students with disabilities.
