This initiative funds innovative nursing research centers that promote community-partnered research addressing persistent health challenges. It supports strengthening research infrastructure in nursing schools, developing nurse-led interdisciplinary teams, and conducting pilot research aligned with NINR's mission. Community engagement is required throughout all activities to ensure meaningful partnerships and impactful outcomes.
Eligible applicants include nonprofits, for-profit organizations (excluding small businesses), various government entities, institutions of higher education, tribal governments and organizations, small businesses, and other specified entities. See the full eligibility list for details.
