The PAC program funds empirically grounded, theoretically engaged research on human perceptual, motor, and cognitive processes and their interactions. It supports diverse methodologies, including computational modeling, and encourages studies in realistic scenarios with varied populations. Funded projects are expected to have clear societal benefits. Proposals focusing mainly on neural mappings, clinical populations, or non-human animal behavior without human relevance may be returned without review.
Open to any type of entity without specific restrictions. Investigators are encouraged to confirm appropriateness of their research with the program before applying.
