The CREST-RISE program funds projects at minority-serving institutions to enhance STEM doctoral programs and increase the graduation of research doctoral students, especially from underrepresented groups. It supports research capacity building in areas like AI, advanced materials, cybersecurity, and climate change. Projects must align with institutional strategic plans and focus on increasing doctoral student production and research infrastructure through three tracks: DPSI, RAD, and Equipment & Instrumentation.
