The CREST-RISE program funds minority-serving institutions to enhance STEM doctoral research capacity and increase the graduation of doctoral students, especially from underrepresented groups. It supports projects aligned with institutional strategic plans in all NSF STEM areas, including AI, cybersecurity, quantum sciences, and clean energy. Funding is available through three tracks focusing on doctoral program support, research advancement, and equipment acquisition.
