REU Sites engage multiple students in disciplinary or interdisciplinary research, while Supplements support student involvement in ongoing NSF grants. Projects may include international dimensions. Students must be U.S. citizens, nationals, or permanent residents and apply through individual REU Sites or Supplements, not directly to NSF.
