This funding opportunity supports a Research Coordinating Center to lead a consortium of clinical centers testing anti-obesity medication treatment strategies for youth with obesity. The RCC will manage consortium activities including statistical design, data harmonization, central laboratory coordination, and fostering collaborations. Research aims to optimize AOM use to promote healthy growth, mental health, and quality of life while minimizing risks and dependence.
Eligible applicants include a wide range of U.S.-based institutions such as higher education institutions, governments, nonprofits, small businesses, and tribal organizations. Foreign organizations and foreign components of U.S. organizations are not eligible.
