Supports state, local, tribal governments, and nonprofits in acquiring fee-simple or easement interests in eligible Revolutionary War, War of 1812, and Civil War battlefield lands. Grants require dollar-for-dollar non-Federal match and prohibit acquisition within National Park System boundaries. Recipients must ensure public access and convey perpetual preservation easements to appropriate entities. Applications are accepted year-round.
