This funding supports one organization to act as the National Falls Prevention Resource Center, providing technical assistance, education, and resources to increase participation in evidence-based falls prevention programs. The center will build partnerships, support data collection and reporting, and engage stakeholders to promote long-term sustainability aligned with the Older Americans Act, Title III-D.
Eligible applicants include county, state, and city governments; public and private institutions of higher education; nonprofits with 501(c)(3) status; Native American tribal organizations and governments; public housing authorities; special district governments; and independent school districts.
