This funding supports cooperative agreements to implement evidence-based falls prevention programs targeting older adults and adults with disabilities. Funded activities include forming partnerships, enhancing program quality and effectiveness, disseminating educational resources, and designing evaluations to measure impact on reducing falls and fall risks.
Eligible applicants include Native American tribal governments, nonprofits (501(c)(3)), city/township governments, school districts, public and private institutions of higher education, county and state governments, tribal organizations, public housing authorities, and special district governments.
