This grant funds Spinal Cord Injury Model Systems Centers to conduct collaborative research and contribute data to a longitudinal database. Centers must provide a full continuum of care for spinal cord injury patients, including emergency, acute, and post-acute services. Funding varies based on the number of eligible database participants, with a 60-month project period divided into five annual budget periods.
Eligible applicants include state and local governments, institutions of higher education, nonprofits, small businesses, tribal governments and organizations, for-profit organizations, and faith-based and community organizations meeting eligibility. Foreign entities are not eligible.
