This grant supports groups of NIH-supported investigators to purchase or upgrade a single state-of-the-art commercially available instrument or integrated instrumentation system. The instrument must be optimally shared to ensure efficient, cost-effective research, rigorous measurements, and collaborative benefits to broad research communities. Awards range from $300,000 to $5,000,000 with required cost sharing for premium instruments. Foreign organizations and components are not eligible.
