This funding opportunity supports institutions to establish Nutrition Obesity Research Centers (NORCs) as part of integrated nutrition and obesity research programs. Funded activities include Research Core services, Pilot and Feasibility programs, and Scientific Catalyst initiatives designed to improve research efficiency, productivity, and multidisciplinary collaboration in nutrition and obesity.
Eligible applicants include a wide range of U.S.-based institutions such as higher education institutions, nonprofits, for-profits (excluding small businesses), government entities, tribal organizations, and school districts. Foreign organizations and foreign components are not eligible.
