This program funds use-inspired research and translational activities that accelerate the movement of scientific discoveries from the lab to practical applications. It supports partnerships across academia, industry, government, and nonprofits to foster technology development, economic growth, and STEM workforce preparation. Three tracks address different stages: exploring translation from active NSF awards, maturing solutions, and partnering for large-scale deployment.
Eligibility includes current NSF awardees for the TTP-Explore track and entities capable of forming strategic partnerships for other tracks. Applicants may include institutions of higher education, industry, government agencies, nonprofits, and international organizations.
