This funding opportunity supports new exploratory and developmental research projects focused on Down syndrome. Projects may assess novel areas or experimental systems, or apply existing methodologies innovatively. Studies may involve risk but aim for breakthroughs or novel techniques impacting biomedical, behavioral, or clinical research related to Down syndrome.
Eligible applicants include for-profit organizations (excluding small businesses), nonprofits with or without 501(c)(3) status (excluding higher education institutions), private and public institutions of higher education, various government entities, small businesses, and Native American tribal org
