Supports acquisition of a single commercially available biomedical research instrument not currently available at the institution. The instrument must be shared to enable new research opportunities, reproducible data, collaborative research, and training. Awards range from $50,000 to $400,000. Eligible applicants include various U.S. government entities, nonprofits, for-profits (excluding small businesses), and educational institutions. Foreign organizations and components are not eligible.
