This grant funds local Stand Down events that offer veterans experiencing or at risk of homelessness a range of employment, social, and health services. Events can be one or multiple days and are coordinated collaboratively among federal, state, and local agencies and community organizations. Grants are awarded noncompetitively on a first-come, first-served basis, with funding up to $7,000 for one-day events, $10,000 for multi-day events, and up to $50,000 in federally declared disaster areas.
Eligibility is open to organizations involved in coordinating Stand Down events for veterans experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Additional eligibility details are provided in the grant's supplementary information.
