This opportunity funds administrative supplements to existing NIH research grants and cooperative agreements to cover unforeseen increased costs within the peer-reviewed and approved project scope. Applicants must have active parent awards and coordinate with awarding IC officials. Foreign subawards/subcontracts are prohibited under this NOFO. Supplements support continuation of funded research activities requiring additional resources.
Eligible applicants include a wide range of organizations such as nonprofits, institutions of higher education, tribal governments, small businesses, government entities, and foreign organizations. The parent award must be active, and the supplement research must be within the approved project scope
