This funding opportunity supports Animal and Biological Material Resource Centers that provide laboratory animal colonies, biological materials, and informatics tools to the biomedical research community. Projects must broadly serve multiple NIH Institutes and focus on enhancing scientific rigor, transparency, and reproducibility. Special emphasis is placed on coordinating with new approach methodologies like cell culture, organoids, and computational models, including applied research to generate comparative data for these methods.
Eligible applicants include county, state, city, and special district governments; private and public institutions of higher education; nonprofits with or without 501(c)(3) status; for-profit organizations excluding small businesses; and small businesses. Additional eligibility details are provided
