This opportunity funds Diabetes Research Centers designed to support and enhance national research efforts in diabetes, its complications, and related endocrine and metabolic diseases. Centers provide shared access to specialized technical resources and support pilot programs to foster multidisciplinary collaboration, innovative scientific themes, and mentoring for future researchers.
Eligible applicants include various government entities, nonprofits, educational institutions, tribal organizations, and small businesses. Foreign organizations and non-U.S. components are not eligible. Only one application per institution is allowed.
