This program funds high-quality translational research projects that aim to understand disease processes or develop new therapies, diagnostics, or prevention strategies. It promotes collaborations between NIH intramural investigators and extramural researchers to leverage unique clinical research opportunities at the NIH Clinical Center, accelerating the translation of basic science into clinical applications.
Eligible applicants include state and local governments, Native American tribal organizations, for-profit and nonprofit organizations, institutions of higher education, and small businesses within the United States.
