The Sickle Cell Disease Regional Care Excellence Program supports seven regional hubs to enhance health outcomes for people with sickle cell disease. Awardees will collaborate with clinical and community partners to expand access to care, improve treatment quality, and track quality of life indicators using continuous quality improvement methods. The program targets early intervention and disease-modifying therapies to reduce complications and premature death.
Eligible applicants include public and private institutions of higher education, nonprofits with or without 501(c)(3) status, and other organizations as specified. Applicants must be based in the United States.
