This funding supports a single cooperative agreement to continue the Cardiovascular Repository for Type 1 Diabetes (CaRe-T1D) Resource Center. The center will expand the biorepository of human cardiovascular tissue, develop data commons and AI tools, coordinate consortium research activities, and provide resources to the broader research community. The goal is to advance understanding and treatment of cardiovascular disease in type 1 diabetes.
Eligible applicants include Native American tribal governments and organizations, public housing authorities, private and public institutions of higher education, nonprofits, for-profit organizations, small businesses, independent school districts, and various government entities.
