This program funds projects that develop the next generation of professionals in food and agricultural sciences. It supports professional development for K-14 educators, non-formal youth education, workforce training at colleges, undergraduate research training, fellowships for predoctoral and postdoctoral scholars, and workforce development workshops.
Eligible applicants include state agricultural experiment stations, colleges and universities, research institutions, federal agencies, private organizations, and individuals who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Foreign and international organizations are not eligible.
