This grant supports projects that improve access to and use of hydrologic data, develop water management tools, and enhance hydrologic modeling and forecasting. Funded projects help water managers increase water supply reliability, improve forecasts for drought and flood conditions, and optimize water operations. Examples include improving irrigation models, snow monitoring technologies, and hydrologic databases.
Eligible applicants include States, Tribes, local entities, and others as specified in the additional eligibility information. Applicants must be involved in water management and hydrologic data projects.
