This grant funds projects that enhance the preservation and availability of physical and digital collections important for humanities research, teaching, and public engagement. Eligible activities include conservation, digitization, enhancement of digital resources, and education or training in collections stewardship for students and professionals.
Eligible applicants include state, county, city, and special district governments; public and private institutions of higher education; federally recognized Native American tribal governments; and nonprofits with 501(c)(3) status excluding higher education institutions.
