This funding supports up to 30 consortia focused on systematically managing scientific and research data by establishing standards, metadata standards, interoperable data management services, and enhancing collaboration. Funding is initially for five years and targets institutions in Germany that meet non-profit/public-benefit criteria.
Eligible applicants include state-funded and state-recognized higher education institutions, non-university research institutions, departmental research institutions, academies, and publicly financed information infrastructures in Germany that meet non-profit/public-benefit requirements.
