The HOIHI Grant Program supports Native Hawaiian organizations in implementing the NATIVE Act by promoting culturally grounded tourism that treats visitors as guests sharing responsibility to care for Hawaii's natural and sacred sites. Grants strengthen capacity to steward traditional knowledge, create jobs, elevate living standards, and expand economic opportunities aligned with 2026 Administration priorities.
Eligible applicants include nonprofits with or without 501(c)(3) status (excluding institutions of higher education), Native American tribal organizations (excluding federally recognized tribal governments), and others as specified in additional eligibility information.
