Supports programs that conduct home studies and provide post-release services for unaccompanied alien children under 18 without legal guardians in the U.S. Funded activities include verifying safe placements, assisting children in adjusting to new homes, promoting health and safety, community integration, and helping navigate immigration court processes.
Eligible applicants include small businesses, nonprofits (with or without 501(c)(3) status), for-profit organizations, tribal organizations, educational institutions, and various government entities including state, county, city, and tribal governments.
