This funding supports community-based efforts in tribal and migrant communities to prevent child abuse and neglect. Projects will develop, operate, and expand initiatives that build resilience and protective factors among children and families. Funded activities focus on measurable improvements in child safety, access to prevention services, and implementation of evidence-informed practices tailored to these communities.
Eligible applicants include federally recognized Indian tribes, tribal organizations, migrant programs, and nonprofits operating or planning to operate migrant or tribal programs. Individuals and foreign entities are not eligible.
