This funding supports development and implementation of the Personal Responsibility Education Program targeting youth ages 10-19 and pregnant/parenting youth under 21. Projects must focus on abstinence, contraception, and prevention of pregnancy, STIs, and HIV/AIDS, and include at least three adulthood preparation subjects such as healthy relationships, financial literacy, and career success.
Eligible applicants include local governments, school districts, higher education institutions, tribal governments and organizations, nonprofits, for-profits, small businesses, and consortia with capacity to implement PREP in states not accepting FY2026 State PREP allocations.
