This grant supports projects in Alaska that develop workforce skills in marine science, aquaculture, and maritime operations; improve seafood safety and fishery management through training; foster technological innovation in fishing; educate consumers on seafood sustainability; enhance regionally-specific fishery management; and build partnerships to strengthen the seafood supply chain and competitiveness of Alaska's marine community.
