This grant supports projects conducted in Alaska that enhance workforce development in marine science, aquaculture, and maritime operations. It funds training in seafood safety and fishery management, promotes technological innovation in fishing, educates consumers on sustainable seafood, and strengthens the seafood supply chain through partnerships among industry, researchers, and communities.
Eligible applicants include individuals, nonprofits, for-profit organizations, small businesses, tribal organizations, and various government entities. Federal agencies and their employees are not eligible.
