This grant program funds highway-rail or pathway-rail grade crossing improvement projects that enhance safety and mobility of people and goods. Eligible projects include crossing elimination and other improvements to reduce hazards and improve traffic flow at rail crossings.
Eligible applicants include state, county, city or township governments, and federally recognized Native American tribal governments. Others may be eligible as specified in additional information.
