This five-year grant supports the development of a national Foster Parents Network Analytics Hub that integrates with state child welfare information systems. It provides states with advanced analytics tools and rapid technical assistance to analyze foster home dynamics, identify capacity gaps, and improve retention and placement matching, aiming to achieve a foster home-to-child ratio greater than 1:1 by 2029.
Eligible applicants include city, county, state, and tribal governments, public and state-controlled higher education institutions, and nonprofits with or without 501(c)(3) status. Individuals and foreign entities are not eligible.
