This funding opportunity supports research and development projects aimed at improving community living and participation outcomes among people with disabilities. Applicants must propose projects that test hypotheses or research questions through intensive, systematic studies to produce new scientific knowledge or understanding. Projects may be research, development, or combined, with a 36-month project period divided into three 12-month budget periods.
Eligible applicants include public and private higher education institutions, nonprofits, tribal organizations, governments at various levels, small businesses, and for-profit organizations. Foreign entities are not eligible.
