This cooperative agreement funds the development, implementation, and evaluation of a demonstration program offering post-adoption support services such as support groups and resources for birth parents who voluntarily placed children for private domestic adoption. The project aims to identify effective support models that enhance birth parents' well-being and create replicable frameworks for national adoption support.
Eligible applicants include nonprofits with or without 501(c)(3) status (excluding institutions of higher education), and organizations providing adoption-related technical assistance and minority leadership training. Individuals and foreign entities are not eligible. Faith-based and community organ
