This program funds collaborative networks of healthcare systems, facilities, and public health partners to rapidly detect, respond to, and prevent threats to patient and healthcare worker safety. It supports improvements in safety, quality, and resilience across a variety of healthcare settings including acute care hospitals, nursing homes, dialysis centers, emergency rooms, outpatient facilities, and home health providers.
Eligible applicants include state, county, city, and tribal governments, public housing authorities, nonprofits, private and public institutions of higher education, for-profit organizations, small businesses, and others as specified.
