Provides financial assistance to Japanese American nonprofit organizations for large, impactful education projects that educate the public about the historical importance of Japanese American confinement during World War II. Projects must promote understanding of the commitment to equal justice under the law and have a meaningful, lasting impact on public education.
Eligible applicants are Japanese American nonprofit organizations within the United States with 501(c)(3) status, excluding institutions of higher education.
