The FY26 Alzheimer’s Research Program Transforming Care Award supports clinical research and trials evaluating interventions, innovations, and solutions in dementia care for individuals with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias and their care partners. It excludes pharmacological-only trials and animal model studies. Applicants must provide preliminary data and collaborate with communities enrolling human subjects. The award encourages leveraging existing cohorts and supports collaborative partnerships including a Career Initiation or Transition option.
Open to any type of entity, subject to additional eligibility clarifications. At least one independent investigator must meet Career Initiation or Transition Partnership Option eligibility if applying under that option.
